“Everyone Counts!!”

OPENING QUESTIONS:

1. When you go on vacation, are you more of a “go with the flow” kind of person, or do you like to have everything planned out?  Why? 

    

GOING DEEPER:

1. READ I Corinthians 14:40 & Colossians 2:5. 

    

2. Why is it important for a church to be “orderly”?

    

3. Our culture celebrates those who do their own thing.  How does this thinking affect our church?  What can we do to protect ourselves from it?

    

4. READ I Chronicles 23:30-31.

    

5. Were these priests allowed to do whatever they wanted, or did they have to follow a prescribed order for worship?

    

6. Do you think this would hamper freedom of expression in worship, or would it help to enhance it?

    

7. Is there ever a place for throwing organization out and just ‘going with the flow’ in worship?  If so, when and where?  If not, why?

    

GETTING PERSONAL:

1. What ministry are you involved in with church or our group?  How does that help others to worship? 

    

2. Have you ever been burned by ‘the organized church’?  If so, how has that affected your willingness to get involved?

    

PRAYER and WORSHIP

1. Pray for those in your group who have expressed hurt from past church experiences.  Ask for God to heal them.

    

2. Pray for friends who do not yet know Jesus.
