“BRINGING HEAVEN TO EARTH”  part 1

OPENING QUESTION:

1. Which situations are most worrisome for you? (no paycheck?  Bad medical report? Kids doing poorly in school? Etc?)
2. Why do you worry about that situation?

DIGGING DEEPER:

1. READ Luke 12:22-34.
2. How does this section relate to the preceding story about the rich fool?
3. What does Jesus tell His disciples NOT to do? 
4. What is Jesus’ solution for worry and fear?
5. Why are people given to worry and fear?  What causes this in our lives?
6. How does the man in verses 16-19 contrast with Jesus’ disciples in verses 32-34?

GETTING PERSONAL:

1. On a scale of 1 to 10, what is the worry quotient like in your life right now?
2. Why are you worried about that?
3. How can we pray for you?

PRAYER TIME:

Use this time to minister to one another, inviting God to remove the fear and worry from our lives.
