Can the Good Samaritan Fund Help YOU?

I don't think anyone would disagree that living these days has sure gotten a lot more expensive.  Just about every time you turn on the news, one of the Utility Companies is proposing (and unfortunately passing!) a rate increase, and usually double-digit at that!  Gasoline - well, do I have to say any more about that?  Groceries, insurance, taxes...you name it, every expense we are faced with seems to be going up and up and up.

But thank God for His bountiful provisions!  Some how, even on our seeming darkest days, the 'ends' just seem to meet.  And when they can't quiet make it those last few inches, the Good Samaritan Fund is here for you. 

Because of people in our Church Family who have a bit more when you have a bit less, the Good Samaritan Fund has had another very prosperous year.  But the 'mission' of the Fund is not the hoard all that money - it's to help those in need, those that struggle in silence and have to decide to stay warm or eat this week.  The Fund is there for those Moms who give the kids their gas money for lunches that week.  God wants us to reach out to all of those who struggle from time to time.  But we can't help if we don't know your need.

Through this cold winter, when we know the bills will be high before we even open them, the Good Samaritan Fund wants to help.  If you find yourself making tough choices, reach out and ask for help.  Bring in your utility bills that you are struggling with to me, and we'll see what we can do to help ease that burden a bit.
