Nursery Workers Guidelines

(Of course, this is just a guideline - we all know that babies are wonderfully unpredictable!)

Before service:
We are thankful for all our helpers in the Nursery, but please do not come in, if you yourself are not well. Contact the Nursery Coordinator to let them know that you will not be able to come, and a replacement will be found.

Please arrive 10 minutes prior to the start of service to set up and welcome babies and parents.

*Make sure parents sign in and take a beeper with them

*Please beep any parent that has a child that needs a diaper change and/or will not stop crying (we are not allowed, by State law, to change diapers)

During service:
*Play/Read - babies love pretending with the nursery toys and hearing stories

 
*Cuddle, cuddle, cuddle!

At the end of service:
*Clean up: All toys must be wiped down with Lysol wipes

 
*Make sure all babies are reunited with the parent or other adult designated to pick up the child.
