As Christians, we want our homes to be an example of Christ’s love, so that when others look at our family relationships they see something they want for their family. At the core of a healthy home is a healthy marriage. In part one of this series we look at the foundation to successful communication, conflict resolution, romance and mostly every aspect of a marriage. That foundation is called submission and we will see how submission to Jesus and to one another can unify a marriage and strengthen its bo
When we look in the bible at how Jesus addressed the problems of sin, He took a very simplistic approach. He said, “Come follow me” to the Galilean fishermen. (Matthew 4:19). All He did was to invite them into a relationship. Their response was to drop everything and do as he said. What is your response to that same invitation? Is there something you need to drop in order for your relationship with Jesus to begin?

In fact, the same people that cheered for Jesus called for His crucifixion when He didn’t live up to their own expectations. Many of us view Jesus the same way. We worship our own idea of Jesus and not who He really is and what He wants for us. Brothers and sisters, don’t get discouraged if you have found yourself worshiping a self serving Jesus. In
